My Poems and others

  • Blue (my 8 year old daughter)

    Blue

    Blue is a good color.

    Blue as the pretty sky

    and Blue birds singing

    also the Blue bench

    in the old town park.

  • The Sun (my 8 year old daughter)

    The Sun

The sun is like a ball of fire,
like a light in your room

    the sun gives us light,
it gives us warmth in the summer

    it lets us plant flowers,
    and also trees.

  • A Gift from Above

    A Gift From Above

When I first saw you, I began to understand,
from the very first cry and the touch of your hand

That you were a gift from my God above,
Given to me with His unconditional love

The very first step to the very first word,
my excitement abound of the sweetness I heard

From camp in the summer to school in the fall,
you give me great pride as you walk down the hall

My child you are growing up right before my eyes,
too many days I hold back my cries

If there is one thing sweetheart I want you to know,
you are a blessing from the Lord, who loves you also.

     I love you very much.

  • His Grace

    His Grace

I am a sinner, saved by His grace,
my God is wonderful and awesome in this place

I will strive to serve you, yes my Lord,
it is your command, that I work toward

His blessings to me flowing so free,
I need to thank Him, on bended knee

The body of Christ, which I'm now part of,
I am one of His children, from unconditional love

I have peace in my heart, yes I do,
He's already won the victory, so peace is yours too

there is no doubt you are head of our house.

I'm so proud that we serve the Lord,
now our family is of one accord.

The way you cope with everything,
gives me hope to my well being.

I thank you my darling for your their mother,

You make me the person who I am today,
and I thank God for you when I pray.
